If the VAT on your boat is paid you can use the Delaware registration in European waters and you can avoid the problem of "temporary admission or discharge" which provides that the presence of such vessels may take place within European Union waters for a maximum period of 18 months, once this term known as "temporary admission or discharge", as known, has expired, the yacht will have to formally leave it and then return to EU territories to start a new period.

To remedy this inevitable consequence, the owner will have to proceed with the definitive importation of the unit by paying the VAT and the related duties. To do this it is necessary to contact a shipper who will be able to calculate the amounts due and follow the shipowner in all the bureaucratic procedures.

We can either register your boating license as a private owner or we can create a corporation (LLC) in Delaware to hold ownership of your yacht. This way, you can protect your privacy.

You can choose to register for 1 year or 3 years. Delaware registration is done by calendar year, i.e. from January 1st to December 31st. We can already enroll from October for the new year.

The standard registration time is around 10-14 days. If you would like us to register your boat with a newly formed Delaware LLC it will take an extra 2/3 days.
